Translation Notes

割れそうだ here could mean the literal sense, like something about to crack and shatter, but it can also commonly refer to a ‘splitting’ headache. That's what I'm trying to refer to.

“Kalinka” is a famous russian folk song. In the song, Kalinka (red berry) and Malinka (raspberry) are used as affectionate pet names for a beautiful woman.

Hachi has never elaborated on what “524” means, however, there are many theories. 感度良好 is commonly used in radio communication or when checking a signal, similar to the english “Loud and clear”.

”Freud” may be referring to Sigmund Freud, a neurologist who founded psychoanalysis. A “keloid” is a thick, raised scar.

I'm very unsure of this translation.

The actual meaning is a bit different, a more literal translation would be “catch me” - however, I wanted to keep the double meaning of 受け止めて used in the song.

A more literal translation would be “pinching my cheek”, however, in Japan, this is something stereotypically done to wake oneself up from a dream.

A “marade” is a combination of a march and a parade, usually associated with activism.
